UX@UA: A Community for UX Enthusiasts
November 6, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
FreeRebecca Blakiston presents for 20 minutes as part of the University of Arizona’s IT Summit.
A well-designed user experience (UX) is a critical component to any digital product or service. UX is a broad-reaching concept and involves user research, usability testing, content strategy, information architecture, and more. UX@UA is an informal learning community created at the University of Arizona (UA) in 2017 that seeks to bring together UX enthusiasts to learn from one another. We now have over 130 members including students, staff, and faculty across the university, as well as some community members who want to partner with the UA. We invite web developers, web designers, programmers, project managers, marketers, and writers to join us. Participants will learn:
- What UX@UA is
- How to get involved in UX@UA
- The impact of UX@UA one year in
Interested in getting involved? Visit our UX@UA website, join us on Slack (use your UA email address) or join UX@UA on Meetup.
